Sullivans Cove Single Cask Brandy XO 700ml

Sullivans Cove XO Single Cask Brandy was born from a collaboration between Sullivans Cove Distillery and the thriving Tasmanian wine industry, when ten years ago we were given the opportunity to distil wines from the Huon Valley. The result is a spirit of incredible complexity and character, matured for many years by the unique Tasmanian climate in various European and American oak casks.

Like our Single Cask whiskies, XO Single Cask Brandy is bottled one cask at a time, allowing each to express its own unique character and producing only a very few bottles of rare quality.

Third release of Sullivans Cove XO Single Cask Brandy, cask number TDB009, was distilled in August of 2007 from Tasmanian Chardonnay and aged in a 200L French Oak ex-tawny cask. Bottled at 50.5% abv, this cask produced only 285 bottles.

"This brandy has classic fortified dark fruit notes on the nose, backed up by powerful cedar and tobacco leaf. On the palate we've got beautiful warming rum and raisin with the darkest of chocolate, and a long, lingering finish with lots of leather, toffee and a hint of liquorice. This is a real winter warmer, a very rich, dark and satisfying brandy."
