Paul Jaboulet Aine has been a respected shipper and wineyard owner in the Rhone Valley since 1834. "La Chappelle" refers to the small chapel belonging to the Jabouiet family near the top of the steep, terraced Hermitage hill overlooking the Rhone river. Produced from Syrah grapes grown on the Jaboulet estate, this world famous wines benefits from vines 40 years old on average, lengthly maceration and aging in small oak barrels, in great vintages, it will mature for 50 years or more.
