Description
A modern twist on an old favourite, this Northern England style has been re-imagined with lashings of Australian macadamia nuts and hearty English malts to create a brew that smokes a pipe and spins a yarn. In 2009 this forgotten treasure was deciphered from the tattered pages of Paul Holgate's well-worn recipe book to celebrate our brewery's 10th anniversary.
Steeped in the heady days of back-yard brewing, roast macadamia nuts augment English crystal, brown and chocolate malts to create a rich and caramel malty palate.
