Yalumba Menzies Cabernet Sauvignon 1998

The Menzies Vineyard is a 20 hectare estate sited on the unique cigar shaped island of terra rossa soils over a limestone base that is quintessentially Coonawarra. This yalumba vineyard was planted in 1975 with the viticultural focus being the pursuit of ultimate grape and wine quality.

This single vineyard wine exemplifies the very best of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon elegance of structure, immense length of flavour and great cellaring potential. A single minded quality approach begins in the vineyard and is carried through all winemaking aspects including maturation for 2 years in seasoned French Allier barrels, crafted at our own on site cooperage.
