Distillery: The White Oak distillery is owned by the Eigashima company, which is one of the oldest producers of sake in Japan. It is located in the city of Akashi, near Kobe on the island of Honshu.
Production: Akashi uses 30% to 45% malted barley for its famous blend. The whisky is then aged in American oak barrels.
