Description
Released in celebration of Martell's 300th anniversary, occurring in 2015, this is a limited edition bottling of their Cordon Bleu Cognac presented in bottles designed to look like the ones the expression was originally released back in 1912. Made with over 100 eaux-de-vie from the Petite Champagne, Grande Champagne, Fins Bois and Borderies regions, this is a supremely complex and indulgent Cognac from a prestigious producer.
Colour: Deep, golden copper.
Aroma: Crystallized plums, apples, mocha coffee, toasted almonds, vetiver, cinnamon, orange tree flower, honey and beeswax.
Palate: A rich yet supple entry, very round some sense of vanilla, spice and citrus peel. Dense dried fruit, nut, sweet spice, chocolate, deep copper chestnut aromas and some roasted nuts.
Finish: Warm and leather.
